Why not use Kyriarchy, a more general term than Patriarchy and also less ‘old school’?

First because I can easily get from patriarchy to ‘the patrix’ and that enables the connection to the plot of the film, The Matrix. This, you will recall, has all of us living in a fictional reality rendered by artificial intelligence as a cover for the hidden reality - that we are being farmed by A.I. for the essential nutrients upon which ‘it’ depends for survival.

Secondly, during talks and conversations focused on the ‘matrix of domination’ people so get it that the patrix is the matrix with a ‘p’. It has distinct pop value and I am in this for the pop. I am not too bothered if it doesn’t work for the literati and/or the politically correct at this stage.

And, whilst the topic of films is still close by, I can better imagine a film titled ‘Patrix Busting’ than I can one called ‘Deconstructing Kyriarchy’ even if this is what we need to be doing.
